Displaced Families Return To Southern Lebanon As 10-Day Ceasefire Takes Effect
Beirut, Lebanon: US president Donald Trump, has announced a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, taking effect from Friday. People, who fled the residence after fresh bombing began in the region, have started coming back to southern Lebanon.
Videos show a crowd celebrating and cheering the ceasefire while returning home. The ceasefire deal also includes Iran-backed Hezbollah ceasing hostilities.

Displaced families are moving towards southern Lebanon and Beirut’s southern suburbs. Notably, the Lebanese army said early on Friday that Israel committed violations of the ceasefire after it took effect, including intermittent shelling of several southern Lebanese villages, raising fears whether the ceasefire will persists.
