CBSE Conducts Class 12 Geography Exam Today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted Class 12 Geography paper today, on February 29, 2024. The exam was scheduled from 10.30am to 1.30pm. This year, a total of nearly 39 lakh students are appearing for the CBSE examinations across the country and 26 foreign centers.

The questions of CBSE Class 12 Geography examination was of moderate difficulty and student friendly, Suja Mathew, PGT-Geography, Army Public School, Delhi Cantt told Timeline.

Here is the review of Ms Suja:

“CBSE Class 12 Geography paper was of moderate difficulty. A student who has thoroughly prepared from NCERT textbook would be able to attempt it easily. The case studies were simple. Map questions were along expected lines. Some MCQs were tricky. Adequate choices in long and short answer questions, tempered down the difficulty level of the paper. Overall, a student friendly paper.”

Students appearing in the examination were advised to arrive at the center at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam with admit cards.

Reportedly, CBSE has been conducting board exams for Classes 10 and 12 from February 15. Class 12 exams will be held until April 2 while Class 10 exams will take place till March 13.“These date sheets have been prepared by avoiding more than 40,000 subjects combinations to ensure that no two subjects’ examinations of a student fall on the same date,” CBSE said in a statement.
