As vote counting in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan progresses, the majority of the leaders in all parties have been leading in their respective constituencies.
Rajasthan
In Rajasthan, BJP stalwart Vasundhara Raje is steering her way to victory with 7,440 votes, as per the EC. Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, representing the Bhartiya Janata Party, is contesting for the Jhalarapatan seat, a constituency she has held since 2003.
The BJP”s Siya Kumari, who is touted as the chief ministerial candidate, is leading from Vidyadhar Nagar. The other heavyweights—Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot, and the BJP”s Rajyavardhan Rathore—are also leading.
Chhattisgarh
In Chhattisgarh, Congress has been leading by 57 seats, breaching the majority mark. However, in an unexpected event, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is trailing in Patan.
Former BJP minister Amar Agrawal is leading over his nearest Congress rival Shailesh Pandey by a margin of 3000 votes; the BJP”s Raman Singh is leading in Rajnandgaon; and other prominent candidate Congress”s chief, Deepak Baij, is also in a commanding position.
Madhya Pradesh
The ruling Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is currently in a commanding position with 122 seats in Madhya Pradesh, while the principal opposition is trailing with 96. The sitting Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has been fielded in the Budhni Assembly constituency in Sehore district, which neighbors Bhopal. Currently, Chouhan is leading, and his predecessor and rival Kamal Nath in Chhindwara is leading against Vivek Bunty Sahu of the BJP. BJP Ministers Narottam Mishra and Narendra Singh Tomar trail behind in Datia and Dimni.
Telangana
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), his minister-son K T Rama Rao, state Congress President A Revanth Reddy, and BJP Lok Sabha members Bandi Sanjay Kumar and D Arvind are among the list of prominent candidates, and all of them are leading.
