The Faridabad NIT constituency of Haryana shows that the BJP’s Satish Kumar Phagna won by 33,217 votes more than Congress candidate Neeraj Sharma (58775 votes) as Satish secured 91, 992 total votes as per the Election Commission of India. Indian National Lok Dal (INDL) candidate Nagender Bhadana lost by 62,443 votes. Satish Kumar has been working as a property consultant but actively contributing to politics in Haryana.
Faridabad NIT is considered one of the 90 Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) constituencies in the state of Haryana which is located in the South region in Haryana. This constituency is also considered Urban and falls in the Faridabad district. The constituency is a part of the Faridabad (General) Lok Sabha constituency. In the previous year (2019) Lok Sabha polls BJP led in the assembly as the Faridabad Lok Sabha seat was won by Krishan Pal of BJP beating Avtar Singh Bhadana of INC.
For the previous election in 2019, BJP led in this assembly segment and the Faridabad Lok Sabha seat was captured by Krishan Pal of BJP battling with Avtar Singh Bhadana of Congress. In the 2009 elections, Congress was the leading party in the Faridabad NIT assembly segment while the Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency was captured by Avtar Singh Bhadana by defeating BJP’s Ramchander Bainda.
