Tijara Constituency Election Result 2023: BJP's Mahant Balaknath Has Won, Defeats Imran Khan

The assembly constituency of Tijara in Rajasthan has seen a contest between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP’s)’s Mahant Balaknath and Indian National Congress (INC) party”s Imran Khan. Sandeep Kumar of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is the sitting MLA. Mahant Balaknath garnered 110209 votes while, Congress candidate Imran Khan came second with 104036 votes and ASP candidate Udami Ram came third place with 8054 votes. In the 2023 Rajasthan assembly elections, there were total 224795 voters in the constituency.

Tijara is one of the important constituencies in Rajasthan. The Assembly election in Rajasthan was held on November 25th for 200 seats. Tijara, situated in the Alwar district of Rajasthan, India, is predominantly rural, placing a significant focus on agricultural and rural development. Over the years, the legislative assembly constituency has been a stage for captivating electoral battles, showcasing the diverse political choices of its residents.Tijara is constituency in the Alwar district, and its concerns may align with those of rural areas.

In 2013 assembly elections, BJP”s Master Maman Singh Yadav had defeated BSP”s Fazal Hussain. Maman Singh was voted 69276 votes and BSP”s Fazal Hussain was voted 31284 votes. Aimaduddin Ahmmed came third with 29172 votes then. The constituency had 169255 voters then.

In 2018, the Tijara seat was won by the BSP candidate Sandeep Kumar with 59468 votes, while INC candidate Aimaduddin Ahmmed had come in second place voted 55011 and Sandeep Dayma from BJP came third with 41176 votes. The constituency had 223748 voters then.

Overall, according to the latest reports, out of the total 200 seats, BJP is leading with 115 seats and Congress is in second position with 69 seats. Along with Rajasthan, the Assembly elections were held in four other states including Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh. The results of these states have also been announced.
