Telugu superstar Allu Arjun’s mass action film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, smashed box office records even before its release. While fans await the release of the sequel, which has undergone many delays, the hype for the film despite everything continues to increase every day. According to reports, Pushpa 2 collected a whopping Rs 1,085 crores solely with its pre-release collection.
The film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles, sold its theatre rights for an impressive Rs 640 crores, making it one of the most profitable film deals in Indian cinema.

The film secured a major distribution deal with streaming giant Netflix, which acquired the movie rights for Rs 275 crores.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 has a budget of Rs 500 crores. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who won the National Award for Best Music Director, while Allu Arjun won the National Award for Best Actor for Pushpa 1: The Rise.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to release in theatres worldwide on December 5.

The prequel, Pushpa, was a roaring success. It revolved around a labourer called Pushpa who fights his enemies as well as the police to become the undisputed king in the world of red sandalwood smuggling. The sequel promises to immerse the audience in Pushpa’s world and highlight his hardships as he attempts to outgrow everyone.
