"Battle Of Noida": Residents Fight It Out Over Parking Space
A clash, following a parking dispute between two neighbours, in Noida’s Sector 72 today reminded the 2021 iconic “battle of Baghpat” in Uttar Pradesh, which had made a social media sensation back then. The latest incident occurred in B Block of Sector 72 on Monday evening, resulting in the vandalism of a vehicle and the arrest of six individuals. The arrested included a woman and a minor among others.
The social media footage shows women, men and minor slapping each other with sticks, cricket bats and hands, and vandalising a car parked near by breaking its windows and doors. The clash started with an argument between the two parties over a parking space. The altercation later spiralled into physical assault and ended with the Sector 113 police filing a case against both parties involved. The probe is currently going on.

The 2021 famous battle of Baghpat was between two shopkeepers of chaat stalls in Uttar Pradesh over the customers. One of the scene’s characters, ‘Einstein Chacha’ dressed in a green kurta with orange hair had drawn mass attention, with memes on social media comparing him with some fictional and non-functional characters. Due to the impact the characters of the conflict had created on people, the battle of Baghpat is remembered every year. Interestingly, people are even celebrating its anniversary for the last three years on February 22, the day the incident took place.
