A European EV start-up, Stark Future focuses on producing high-performance off-road EVs. The start-up recently unveiled the VARG EX, a revolutionary EV enduro bike, that Royal Enfield purchased a 10.35% interest in in 2023. The EX is the second product from Stark Future in the EV off-road market, and it is based on the previously disclosed VARG MX. The EX is a more adaptable choice than the Varg MX because it is intended to be a road-legal enduro.
It has a bigger battery pack than the MX, with a 7.2kWh rating as opposed to the MX’s 6.5kWh. The EX’s top-spec “Alpha” version generates 80 horsepower, which is presently more than any gasoline-powered substitute. The EX’s five riding modes, which let you adjust the power and range from 10 to 80 horsepower depending on the mode you choose, are what make it approachable. It is important to note that Stark also sells the EX at a discounted price in a 60 horsepower version.

Since the VARG EX weighs 120 kg, most riders shouldn’t be concerned about weight. The EX comes standard with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, and the firm provides five different tire choices. With a few tweaks, the steel frame of the EX is likewise comparable to that of the MX. Kayaba handles the suspension responsibilities. It has a rear KYB monoshock with variable compression and rebound based on speed and a 48mm closed cartridge fork with 300mm of travel. The suspension option on the MX is not the same as the one on the EX.
Varg EX provides the first of its kind, the Stark Arkenstone, a military-grade detachable smartphone in place of a dash. The Arkenstone is an Android gadget that is connected to the bike via GPS and a Gyro. Additionally, the gadget serves as a conduit between the rider and the Stark support staff, enabling you to shoot films while on the go.
The most potent enduro motorbike in the world is unveiled by Stark Future. The goal of Stark Future SL’s road-legal motorbike, the VARG EX, is to transform the enduro market.
According to Stark, the transmission produces 80 horsepower, making it the most potent Enduro bike available. With the use of the five-mode handlebar control switch, riders may alter the power delivery, engine braking, and regenerative curves to suit their needs.
The VARG EX delivers unmatched versatility, whether it is simulating the agility of a 125 cc two-stroke or the overwhelming might of a 450 cc four-stroke. In addition to powering the bike, the 7.2 kWh honeycomb magnesium battery acts as a structural element, adding to its lightweight and centralised design.

With a 4000 lumen headlamp, two silicon-moulded integrated indicators, handguards, and a license plate holder built into the rear fender, Stark Future claims the EX is ready for the road right out of the factory. The VARG EX is now available for pre-order. Stark plans to transport the bike anywhere in the world, but it’s unclear whether and when the company and its goods will reach India.
