The State-run Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) has launched an ambitious initiative to support and guide over 8 lakh students of public schools to prepare for various undergraduate entrance examinations. A dedicated portal – entrance.kite.kerala.gov.in – has been launched to offer free login access to the students.
KITE is the technology wing of the General Education Department of the Kerala government.

The program entitled, ‘Key to Entrance’ was inaugurated by General Education Minister V Sivakutty. The core objective of the program is to expand educational opportunities and support students in Science, Humanities, and Commerce Streams, the official statement said.
Students of higher secondary and vocational higher secondary government and aided schools will be allowed to access a wide range of learning materials including question papers, assignments, and mock tests. All the study materials and resources will be available after the daily live classes. The classes will be broadcasted on the KITE VICTERS channel and on two PM eVidya channels allotted exclusively for Kerala. Students who miss the live sessions can view them later via the KITE YouTube channel.
The program will cover a comprehensive set of subjects incluidng Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Political Science, History, Business Studies, English and Geography. Additional subjects will be added to the plan in the future.
Students will be provided with self-assessment opportunities to evaluate their progress and identify areas for improvement. It will facilitate evaluation through online model examination to ensure effective learing outcomes.

The Director of General Education (DGE) has issued directives to all schools to take necessary technical measures to avail the facility to students.
As per the CEO, KITE, K Anvar Sadath, this is the largest public entrance exam training system of Kerala, aiming to help nearly 8 lakh students.
