From an investment banker to an MLC (Member of the State Legislative Council), his career trajectory is diverse. He views politics as “serving society” and joined the BJP in 2018.

A year after his joining, the party appointed Saket Misra as an adviser to the Purvanchal Vikas Board to advise the government on the holistic development of eastern Uttar Pradesh, which covers nearly 27 districts. In 2016, he returned to India with the aim of focusing on social services, including development and poverty alleviation, specifically in eastern Uttar Pradesh, the Purvanchal region.

Saket Misra”s father, Nripendra Misra, a powerful bureaucrat, served as a principal secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi from 2014 to 2019.
