BJP Worker Moves Allahabad High Court Against Cockroach Janta Party, Seeks Extradition Of founder Abhijeet Dipke
Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh: The ruling BJP has approached Allahabad High Court seeking a multi-agency probe against Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) and the extradition of its founder Abhijeet Dipke.
Dipke is currently in the United States of America. The public interest litigation (PIL) petition was filed by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker S Vignesh Shishir, and the court will hear the case on Tuesday, June 2. The case has been listed before a Bench of Justice Shekhar B Saraf and Justice Abdesh Kumar Chaudhary.

The petition also sought the removal of posts, videos, reels and other content originating from or associated with Dipke and CJP that misuse, distort, or misrepresent observations of the Supreme Court.
The Cockroach Janta Party emerged into fame after chief justice of India Surya Kant’s controversial statement over unemployed youth. The party became an overnight sensation, attracting millions of followers across social media platforms. The Union Government banned the X account of the party citing security concerns

However, the petitioner has urged the High Court to constitute a special investigation team (SIT) comprising senior officers of intelligence and investigative agencies under the supervision of Ministry of Home Affairs to probe the alleged “foreign-fund rumours of the party.
