The wait is finally over as the Egyptian footballer found the net at the right moment scoring his 200th Reds goal and moreover, sparking a comeback 2-1 win for Liverpool.
Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah widely called as ‘Mo Salah’ achieved milestone on Saturday night by being the fifth player in the club’s history to score 200 goals. The other players from the club who achieved this marvelous milestone includes, Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, Gordon Hodgson and Billy Liddell. Having failed to score in previous two games, the 31-year-old had to wait longer than he expected for his milestone goal.
After the breakthrough win, the star player insisted that Liverpool ‘can do something special this year’ after the Reds came from a goal down to earning all three points against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
“The most important thing is we’ve won the game,” Salah told TNT Sports after the 2-1 win. “When we win a game and I score goals it’s a great feeling but, yeah, I’m happy with the record and happy for the team.”
Liverpool were fallen behind to a Jean-Philippe Mateta penalty in the 57th minute. It was the nineth time the Reds had fallen behind in a match this season, but the difference is that no team in the Premiere League has scored more than Liverpool’s 18 points from a losing position. Liverpool capitalizing as Salah scores, brought the team all to the top of the table.

Thought the team dominated possessions, Jorgan Klopp’s side wasn’t convincing until Salah sparked the revival. Along with Salah, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson too played a major role in the team’s victory.
