Honda has hinted at the release of an improved version of the CBR 650R on its Big Wing social media account. The Japanese auto manufacturer has teased its naked streetfighter sibling a few days after revealing the fully-faired sports bike.

The E-Clutch system eliminates the need for the rider to manually operate the clutch lever, enabling clutchless gear changes during upshifts and downshifts as well as smooth takeoffs and stops. It helps keep the engine from stalling and turns on automatically as the engine begins. If riders choose, they can still manually engage the clutch, and the system will quickly return to control on its own.
Three different shift sensitivity settings—hard, medium, or soft—for both upshifts and downshifts are another way the system can be customized. The instrument panel may suggest a downshift if the motorcycle is in a gear that is too high for the pace. Real-time data, including as shift pedal input, engine speed, gear selection, and throttle position, controls the operation of the e-clutch. Clutch engagement is controlled by a dual-motor actuator located inside the engine case, and smooth operation is ensured by carefully regulating fuel flow and ignition timing.
